Peppermint

Your garden is never complete without mint; Peppermint is a MUST! It is often referred to as a "blast of green energy" when used for medicinal purposes. Like all mints, it can be an invasive plant but many gardeners prefer to grow peppermint in raised beds or containers. Not only is peppermint used for culinary and medicinal uses, but it is also a beneficial plant for the bees and other pollinators in the garden. Mentha Piperita. 90 days to maturity. 1 gram per pack

Peppermint prefers well-draining, loose, and organically rich soil. It can be typically harvested 2-3 times during the plant's growing season. The ideal time to harvest your peppermint is right before your plant begins to bloom. Most will grow in either full or partial sun.
